Investigating Materials

After discovering who the scientist Charles Macintosh was and what he discovered, class 4 decided to carry out an investigation into which materials would be best suited to make a waterproof coat. We chose 5 different materials and had to remember to keep it a fair test. Before we could carry out the investigation we had to predict which material we thought would be best suited. After we had carried out the investigation we wrote our conclusion using scientific vocabulary. Some of us even linked our conclusion to the mop up investigation we did by using the word absorbent.
