Over the last few weeks, Class 5 have started to write a newspaper recount about the mysterious break in at the local bakery which we read about in our class book, “Meet me by the Steelmen.”  We have used a variety of drama techniques to help us really imagine the true thoughts and reactions of the characters who would have been there at the time. We did some freeze frames and thought about how to present our reaction using only actions and facial expressions. We all did some hot seating where some children imagined they were one of our characters and we asked them a variety of questions for them to answer. As a result, our writing is looking amazing! Well done Class 5.
