Last week in literacy we looked at the beginning of The Scarecrow’s Wedding. We made a collage of both Betty and Harry to help us with our character description. As a group we then put adjectives and expanded noun phrases around to help us to describe what they looked like and what their personality was like.

These collages helped us to create fantastic beginnings to the story in our literacy books.
