Class 3’s Science investigation – How to hatch a dinosaur egg.

This week in Class 3 we have been investigating to find out which liquid will make a dinosaur egg hatch.

On Thursday, we created our very own dinosaur eggs using water, baking soda and dinosaurs. We left these overnight to set and thought about what liquids we could test to hatch the eggs.

On Friday, we made our predictions before testing the liquids and hatching the eggs. We tried fizzy pop, vinegar and milk.

The vinegar did the trick and the dinosaur was free. It made a fantastic fizz as the dinosaur hatched from the egg. The milk and fizzy pop soaked into the egg.
