Eco Warrior Workshop – Class 6

On Tuesday morning Pop’s Outdoor Adventure came in to work alongside Class 6 in our Eco Warriors Workshop.

During the morning the children discussed the impact plastic is having on our world and how the oceans are polluted with large amounts. The children started with a quick game where they had to imagine different coloured balls were plastic in the ocean and they had to help clean it up. There was over 200 balls in the ocean!

We then got split into two groups, one group reused and recycled plastic bottles to create mini-beast habitats and the second group used bow and arrows to shoot plastic off a shelf.

The children really enjoyed our morning workshop and have now come up with lots of other ways to reuse plastic bottles.
