Ellie and Mollie – designers of the winning rocket car.

It was a wet and windy day yesterday but it didn’t stop our Year 6s designing, building and racing rocket cars in a scheme based around this year’s Bloodhound SSC attempt at the British land speed record. Working as engineers, the pupils thought about the weight, shape and designs of their cars before going outside (in the pouring rain) to race them. It was a fabulous day and we have certainly got some talent in the class.
