Brooklyn Manley-Holling with his certificate and scholarship to this year’s Summer School.

On Wednesday this week, our Y4 pupils took part in the Rotherham Shakespeare Festival 2016 performing their section of Macbeth in what was a fantastic and highly moving piece of theatre. On top of all this, before the show Brooklyn (pictured) was asked to give advice to the rest of the schools present about how to speak clearly to an audience.  There were over 150 pupils there, but of course, he wasn’t phased in the slightest.  As a reward for his superb efforts both in the performance and at the rehearsals, Brooklyn has been offered a scholarship to attend the Summer School organised by Open Minds Theatre Company.  We are massively proud of him and of course the rest of our Y4s.
